Places to Fish

In Ohio, there are many places to fish. The most obvious is Lake Erie, since it is gigantic and there are a ton of fish in it. You can catch perch, walleye, and sheep-head (but no one wants those). Another obvious place to try is the Ohio River. You can catch catfish, carp, perch, gar, and other stuff. The river is slightly better than the lake because it is easier to fish from the bank instead of having to go out on a boat. I also have gone fishing at many state parks to catch cat fish. My favorite fish to catch is the catfish. The biggest one I ever caught was about 25 pounds. The picture on the right is of a lake near where I live, provided by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources website.
