There is a lot of fishing equipment, such as hooks, rods, reels, and lures. Hooks range in size from 1 to 8. Size 1 is the smallest hook, which is good for catching little fish. Size 8 would be the largest, and it is good for catching large fish like a shark. Rods come in all kinds of sizes, from two feet long to twelve feet long. The longest fishing rod I ever used was 10 foot long. The lure is the most important part, because it is what attracts the fish to the hook. Lures are mostly used for bass or other top water feeders. If you want to catch walleye in Lake Erie, though, you should use an Erie Dearie Spinner, because they work great.
